She starts laughing as she enters Alastaire's office. "Good morning. I think I might have broken Pete--at least mentally.  So please go easy on him today if he seems out of sorts." She goes back to her work space and sets up her computers. She gives Alastaire a sly smirk.

"Right. The last time I saw you was when you called us for help from the X-Mansion." And from there, they were able to take down Black Air and a branch of the Hellfire Club.

"You've certainly changed a lot since then." Alistaire used to be tall and lanky but he was no longer lanky. He looked older now, but that wasn't the only change about him.

"Yes, I suppose we haven't had much of a chance to catch up since I was cursed," he says. "I can uhm...well, it's difficult to explain."

He stands up straight, and shows off the extent of his powers, making himself taller and shorter, older and younger, fatter and skinnier, and showing her how elastic his body is now.

"Do you know, when I joined Weird Happenings all those years ago, I never imagined I would be one of the weird happenings myself." He grins ruefully.

Her mouth opens and she looks at him with wonder. "You say this is a curse? It's amazing! I didn't know you had a power now! That can be really useful."

Alistaire chuckles. "Oh, it does come in handy sometimes."

"Do you see much field work?" She boots her computers and starts checking on if she can get any more clarity on the truck's license plate.

"I have another project for you to take on if you're interested." She looks back at Alistaire. "I need you to check my power levels. I was exposed to a cosmic device almost a year ago. It left me with some interesting results." She raises her eyebrows. "I'll need you to pull up any research you have on Widget and any medical records on me and on any of my counterparts you might have tested while you were with Excalubur."
